Features¶
zoompilot keeps everything sunnypilot does and adds these. Start with the defaults, then turn on one feature at a time so you know what changed.
on every car¶
- Speed-dependent steering: learns how your car steers at each speed.
- Lane change smoothing: slower, smoother lane changes at the pace you choose.
- Slow for Curves: slows before a curve, then returns to your set speed. Retuned for Mazda.
- Speed-Limit Assist: can set cruise to the speed limit from maps or, on Mazda, the camera's signs.
- Speed Assist: brings Experimental Mode up to your set speed on a clear road.
- Lead Follow Assist: follows a steady car at your chosen distance in Experimental Mode.
- Jetlink: runs larger driving models on a connected computer or phone.
on Mazda¶
- Torque limit integration and updated tune: more torque at low speed, fewer small corrections on the highway.
- Sensors and alerts: radar, blind-spot and speed-sign data; known false warnings filtered.
- Alpha Longitudinal: zoompilot drives the gas and brakes. Turns off automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning. Off by default.
On the car's own cruise, zoompilot changes the set speed by pressing the cruise buttons for you. This cruise-button control (ICBM) has no switch: it starts when Slow for Curves, Speed-Limit Assist or custom speed increments need it.
